The green MOS sensor is shifted a half-pixel at the sub-micron level to provide a huge number of effective pixels for moving pictures - equivalent to four times the pixel count of Full-HD. By using the Crystal Engine Pro II to process this large-volume pixel data into Full-HD images, a magnificent level of detail is achieved that was previously not possible.

Use of the new 3MOS BSI Sensor has significantly increased sensitivity. The bright F1.5 Leica Dicomar lens also draws in a large amount of light, and Crystal Engine Pro II provides an excellent, corner-to-corner noise reduction effect.
