The DMC-TZ5(TZ15) can also record motion images in high-definition (1280 x 720 pixels at 30/15 fps)**. The pixel mixed readout method enables bright motion-image recording even in low-light settings. When viewing, these high-resolution 16:9 motion images will provide a remarkable effect on your large-screen TV***. Stunning full-size movies can also be recorded in WVGA (848 x 480 pixels at 30/10 fps) or standard motion images in VGA (640 x 480 pixels at 30/10 fps)**.The DMC-TZ5/TZ4(TZ15/TZ11) also lets you use zooming when taking motion pictures. You can take advantage of the camera's max.10x powerful optical zoom in the motion picture recording.

When you set the motion picture quality to VGA 30fps, WVGA 30fps and HD(1280x720 pixels) 30/15fps, we recommend using a high-speed memory card with "10MB/s" or greater on the package. Some lens movement sounds may be recorded.
*****WVGA (848x480 pixels) images at 30 or 10 fps can be recorded continuously for up to 15 minutes. For Europe, all motion images can be recorded continuously for up to 15 minutes.

The aspect ratio for the DMC-TZ5/TZ4(TZ15/TZ11) can be easily selected from 16:9* wide, 3:2,** and conventional 4:3 to shoot in the framing aspect that best suits the photo's composition or purpose of use. The DMC-TZ5 (TZ15) lets you take 28mm wide-angle shots*** at all three aspect ratios.
