The MW-20 is a stylish and classy Digital Photo Frame that lets you view photos that you've taken with a digital camera on its large 9-inch screen while listening to high-quality sounds. It has an iPod/iPhone cradle that also recharges your iPod or iPhone, and lets you play back both music and videos. Plus, it is able to play back photos classified by mode for images taken with the LUMIX, making it an ideal match for use with any LUMIX model.

LUMIX Scene Mode Playback

There are 10 Slideshow Effects that add movement to the photos. It is also fun to change the effect to match the photos, or just to suit your mood.

Fade

Photos are switched gradually.

Motion

Plays while enlarging and moving the photo up and down, right and left, and in the diagonal direction.

Slide-in

Photos are switched with flowing movement either from right or left.

Wipe 1 / Wipe 2

The displayed photo is switched to the next photo in wiping motion.

Dissolve

Photos are switched as the next photo gradually overlaps the currently displayed photo.

Center Cross

Cross-shaped switching from center toward outside.

Blind

The photos are switched by the horizontal band from top to bottom.

Checker Wipe

Check-shaped switching from left to right.

Random

Various slideshow effects are used randomly for switching photos.

iPod/iPhone Connectivity

The provided iPod/iPhone Cradle allows easy connection of an iPod or iPhone to the MW-20. This enables not only the display of photos and playback of music in the iPod/iPhone, but also the reproduction of motion images, music videos, YouTube™ Videos* etc on the large, high-resolution 9-inch screen of the MW-20.

The battery in the iPod/iPhone can be charged while connected via the cradle.

High-quality Sound with Super Slim Speaker System

The 4cm full-range speaker mounted on the front of the Photo Frame reproduces clear vocals. The 5.6mm Super Slim Speaker combines with a diffuser that expands sound forward. The built-in DSP (Digital Signal Processor) adjusts the audio signal to suit the characteristics of the MW-20's sound reproduction, thus achieving high-quality sound while maintaining slim dimensions.

Adjustable Angle Display

The slim 9.4mm LCD can be tilted for optimal viewing ease. This is convenient when the Photo Frame is placed on a tall bookshelf or low table.

2GB Internal Memory

The 2GB internal memory can store approximately 4,000 photos*1 transferred from an SD Memory Card or PC*2. Photos can be resized*3 during the storage process so that the memory space is utilized effectively. Photos stored in the internal memory can also be transferred to an SD Memory Card.

*3 Only when the photos are copied from SD Memory Card to the internal memory of MW-20.

Vertical Placement and Wall Mountable

In addition to the standard landscape position, the MW-20 can be set up in portrait orientation or mounted on a wall using the provided fixture.

• A Display mode setting must be made to use the product in the vertical position.

[Notes for Wall-Mounting]
• Use the wall-mounting bracket that is included with the product.
• The specific setting is required to use the main unit in a wall-mounted state.
• Vertical wall-mounting is not possible.
• Do not install this unit at the following locations to ensure this unit’s performance and to prevent potential troubles.
– Locations other than vertical walls
– Locations near a sprinkler or a sensor
– Locations near high-voltage lines or power sources
– Locations where wind from a heating device hits the unit
– Locations where the unit is subject to vibration or impact
– Locations near sources of magnetism, heat, vapor, oil smoke, etc.
– Locations of high temperature, such as near ceiling lights (spotlight, halogen light, etc.)
– Locations where there may be water droplet (i.e. under an air conditioner)
– High places where the SD insertion part cannot be reached easily

• Make sure to ask a professional mounter or a dealer for installation/uninstallation.
• When using with the wall-mount setting, the following buttons and functions that can be used will be restricted.
Unusable buttons on the main unit: Except [POWER]
Unusable functions on the main unit: Power Save Setting, iPod/iPhone connection and playback function, USB connection, Panasonic logo illumination.
(The above functions will also not be displayed on the menu, and cannot be operated by remote control.)

Auto LCD Brightness Adjustment and Auto Power Off by Luminance Sensor*1

The built-in luminance sensor detects the room lighting and automatically adjusts the brightness of the LCD screen according to the ambient light. The MW-20 also turns off automatically when the room becomes completely dark.

*1 The Auto LCD Brightness Adjustment and Auto Power Off functions can be switched on or off.
*2 The power does not turn back on automatically when the surrounding area becomes bright again.
