The DMC-GF1 is a system camera that uses Micro Four Thirds lenses. The DMW-MA1 Mount Adaptor also makes it possible to use a wide range of lenses meeting the Four Thirds System standard, an open standard for digital SLR camera design and development. Of course, it also offers a wide variety of options to choose from to match your shooting situations and style, including a Live View Finder (LVF), PL filter, and external flashes. In addition, a stylish carrying bag and strap are available. These accessories let you further upgrade the system according to your shooting style and preference.

The DMC-GF1 has large, high-resolution LCD but Panasonic made Live View Finder (DMW-LVF1) for finder-enthusiasts. The DMW-LVF1 displays the same information as the LCD when you equip the DMC-GF1 with it. It is effectively used in situations where the LCD is difficult to see, such as under bright sunlight. And it is also handy for low-angle shots because it can be tilted vertically from 0 to 90 degrees.

The circular PL Filter prevents shadowing in the four corners and has a thin design that is ideal for digital camera lenses. This eliminates glare to capture the vivid blues of skies and fresh greens of trees, as well as removing reflections when shooting through glass. The use of this genuine product is recommended, because vignetting may result from other types of PL filters.

The DMW-FL220 is a compact and lightweight external flash with TTL automatic light adjustment. It emits light at an intensity of up to GN22, and covers 24mm wide angle of view (35mm camera equivalent). Good for the scenes when the light intensity of the built-in flash is insufficient*. Operation synchronizes with the flash control of the camera including red-eye reduction, slow sync. and 2nd-curtain sync.

Features a medium intensity flash with automatic light adjustment. The wide panel covers 16mm wide angle of view (35mm camera equivalent). Bounce photography is also possible, as you can rotate the light-emitting face 97° vertically and 270° horizontally. An FP TTL AUTO mode that repeatedly emits high-speed FP flashes makes it possible to use the flash even at fast shutter speeds. You can also set the camera to take a variety of flash shots, such as red-eye reduction, slow sync. and 2nd-curtain sync.

The tripod adaptor allows using the DMC-GF1 with large-diameter lenses on tripods comfortably.

When using large-diameter lenses such as the LUMIX G VARIO 45-200mm/F4.0-5.6/MEGA O.I.S. (H-FS045200) or the LUMIX G VARIO HD 14-140mm/F4.0-5.8 ASPH./MEGA O.I.S. (H-VS014140), the lens may interfere with the pedestal of the tripod depending on the shape and length from the center hole to the front edge (over approx.2 cm).
Check the necessity of the tripod adaptor by mounting the DMC-GF1 with the lens before purchase.
