Established in 1953 in a bid to encourage innovation in industrial design, the iF Product Design Award has developed into an annual event staged by the iF Industrial Forum Design in Hannover, Germany. The iF design jury of top-class designers and corporate designers selects the most outstanding examples from among the many industrial product designs submitted around the world. The iF award is among the most prestigious and well-known design award in Europe, the birthplace of industrial design.

The Panasonic PT-RZ470 and PT-RZ370 LED/Laser-combined 1-chip DLP™ projectors have received
the iF Product Design Award 2013.
Feature Description from the iF Product Design Award:
DLP™ projectors that use a new light source (LED + Laser) and are maintenance-free for 20,000 hours.

Panasonic's iF Product Design Award Winners
Panasonic's products were highly admired for their excellent design and user-friendliness at the iF Design Awards 2013. This year, Panasonic Corporation received an iF Gold Award and iF Design Packaging Award for its Clear Glass LED Bulb, also known as the ‘Modern Classic’ in Europe, along with iF Product Design Awards for a total of 17 other products, including the above-mentioned projectors.
