The Panasonic PT-RZ470 and PT-RZ370 LED/Laser-combined 1-chip DLP™ projectors have received
the iF Product Design Award 2013.

DLP™ projectors that use a new light source (LED + Laser) and are maintenance-free for 20,000 hours.

Panasonic's products were highly admired for their excellent design and user-friendliness at the iF Design Awards 2013. This year, Panasonic Corporation received an iF Gold Award and iF Design Packaging Award for its Clear Glass LED Bulb, also known as the ‘Modern Classic’ in Europe, along with iF Product Design Awards for a total of 17 other products, including the above-mentioned projectors.

The Panasonic PT-DZ21K Series 3-chip DLP™ projector has won the InAVation Award 2013 in the category of the Most InAVative Commercial Projector above 10k lumens by public voting.
The InAVation Awards contest is organized by InAVate, leader of online publications of Pro AV integration and technology from the EMEA region. And the top products in the category were selected by a panel of jurors representing the InAVation Awards.

The PT-DZ21K Series boasts a powerful 20,000 lumens of brightness* from the incorporation of four new 465-W UHM lamps. In addition to the high brightness and an extra compact body, the projector boasts high reliability, low TCO with easy maintenance, and installation flexibility, making it an ideal projector for large venue applications such as auditoriums and museums, and for rental and staging that require easy handling.

It was the combination of these strengths that resulted in the selection of the PT-DZ21K Series for use during the opening and closing ceremonies of the London 2012 Olympic Games. The application in the Olympic Stadium came with a very long projection throw distance and a large, complex shaped projection surface that required a powerful projection system with high-performance masking and 3D mapping capabilities.
