More and more PCs are using the wide-screen format. When an lecturer uses a wide-screen PC, a projector with a 4:3 aspect ratio cannot display the PC image accurately. To display a wide-screen image fully, you need a wide-screen projector. Also, for maintenance considerations, it's better to install projectors made by the same manufacturer. However, many manufacturers offer only a limited line-up.
A low resolution projector with a 4:3 aspect ratio cannot project the entire image from a wide-screen PC onto the screen. You also lose lots of detail.
In addition to WXGA models for viewing conventional wide-screen PC sources, the line-up includes WUXGA (1920 x 1200, 16:10) models that handle all of the rich data from Blu-ray Discs, and models that are compatible with the high-resolution WUXGA of the newest wide-screen PCs. The Panasonic lineup supports a variety of wide-screen sources.
Multi Projector Monitoring & Control Software is also available free of charge, so you can centrally manage all of the projectors connected to your LAN system.
Panasonic wide-screen projectors can display high-resolution, wide-screen images in full size.
