Depending on usage a projector lamp may burn out unexpectedly. Even when you try to replace the lamp in a hurry, if the projector is installed on the ceiling or in a tight space it could take a considerable time, and there's a chance that you'll have to simply do without images for the rest of the lecture. If you're not able to use the visual aids that you worked so hard to prepare, you're forced to change your teaching plans on short notice, which can lower both the understanding and the satisfaction of your students. This may ultimately result in a loss of valuable time.
A burnt-out projector lamp can be fatal for lessons that center around visual content.
The Dual-Lamp/Four-Lamp Optical System is featured on all Panasonic DLP™ models. Their excellent reliability lets you use the projector for longer periods of time thanks to the lamp relay mode. If a lamp burns out while the projector is operating, this mode simply switches to another lamp so the image isn't interrupted. You don't have to rush to replace the burnt out lamp. You can do it later at your leisure.
The dual-/four-lamp optical system assures reliable, continuous operation during your lectures.
