People today simply expect HD image quality from their TVs and other video equipment as the quality of image sources is increasingly improving. It's only natural for students who are familiar with these advanced images to want the same high level of quality in the images that are used in classes. For projectors that are used for events that present movies, the level of understanding and interest is drastically lowered if the quality of the color reproduction is poor, especially in the case of art classes and 3D CAD drawings in engineering classes.

Non-wide, low resolution projectors can’t project the full image pixel by pixel.
In response to the increasing popularity of wide-screen image viewing, the PT-DZ12000, PT-DZ8700/DZ110X, PT-DZ6710, PT-DZ6700 and PT-DZ570 are the native WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200 pixels), wide-screen projector capable of displaying high-resolution images with a 16:10 aspect ratio. And the native WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200 pixels) resolution that extends beyond Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) specifications. Panasonic’s 3-chip DLP™ system offers color reproduction and superb motion response to deliver smooth, clear motion images with minimal blur even in fast-action scenes. Numerous image-enhancing technologies in our 1-chip DLP™ projectors also achieve excellent image quality with rich color reproduction. The PT-D12000 Series, PT-DZ8700/DZ110X Series, PT-D6000 Series and PT-DZ570 Series also feature the Detail Clarity Processor, which enables lifelike projection of intricate, highly detailed images.
High definition wide screen movies are projected with superb detail and color reproduction.
