Proof of Toughness

*1 Carried out in Panasonic technical research lab. Dropped on to bottom (in operation-mode).
*2 Measurement unit for force. A force of 1 kgf is produced when an object with a mass of 1 kg is accelerated at a rate of 9.8 m/s2 (acceleration due to gravity). The letter f after kg stands for force. N (Newton) is an SI unit (international unit). 1N is a level of force generated when an object with a mass of 1 kg is accelerated at a rate of 1 m/s2. That is, 1 kgf is equal to 9.8N. Carried out in a Panasonic laboratory when not operating. Vibration with pressure of 980 N (100 kgf) was applied uniformly over the top and bottom faces.
