"eco ideas" for Products
Panasonic is working on its Love the Earth Citizens' Campaign (LE Activity) to encourage our staff members and their families to adopt eco-friendly lifestyles.

In July 2007, Panasonic Group affiliates in Japan and China engaged its 100,000 people in "Eco Challenge", a Japan-China collaborative program to reduce CO2 emissions. One hundred and thirty thousand staff members took steps to cut daytime emissions for a week.
The program is estimated to have reduced CO2 emissions by nearly 180 tons.
The environmental account book is designed to help calculate and reduce the amount of CO2 emissions from a household by recording the amounts of electricity, gas and other accessible energies consumed in a household and the amount of waste.
The materials used for floors, walls and furniture reflect ecological considerations. For example, some of these materials come from waste, whilst others are biodegradable, and so on. Furthermore, some materials which had been used on the floor before remodeling have been recycled.
They are all referred to as eco materials. The following are some of the eco materials for flooring. Just take a look underfoot when you are on the Ecology ideas floor.
1.Terra Cotta Flower Tile
This is our original, unglazed tile with a flower pattern. Made simply by baking natural clay, terra cotta faithfully retains the feel of the material and is also excellent at reducing the risk of slippage.
2.Coco Select Tile
Combining coconut palms and sisal hemp, the tile carpet conveys a feeling of warmth through the use of natural materials retaining their native color. The tile is made entirely from biodegradable materials.
