- Our quality is precisely adapted to the demands of our customers and of society.
- Establish a system of quality control, extending from the planning, design, and manufacturing stages through to the utilization and disposal of our products, as well as pursue quality improvement developments under the cooperation of all departments.
- Sensitively perceive the true needs of our customers and society, possessing the positivity, technical skill and capacity for production, therefore adhering to the interests of our customers and society.
- Compliance with the laws, regulations, and the various standards of quality.
CS
Speaking on the subject of service, our founder, Konosuke Matsushita said, "Service means satisfying customers, and when we satisfy our customers, we in turn find satisfaction in a job well done. Satisfied customers and satisfied employees. This is what constitutes true service." These words form our basic customer service philosophy at Panasonic. Panasonic is working to realize this basic philosophy by providing service that will impress customers by exceeding their expectations, following our basic policy for customer service : “Timely service delivered anytime, anywhere, quickly and reliably.”
Universal Design
Since its inception, Panasonic has retained an uncompromising dedication to people-friendly manufacturing, constantly refining this principle to reflect changes in society and markets over the years. The spirit of people-friendly manufacturing was encapsulated in the Basic Rules for Universal Design that we established in 2003. These rules make it possible to apply the same fundamental approach to manufacturing throughout the Panasonic Group.
Our Universal Design Policy has six basic elements (listed below). We are increasingly incorporating universal design principles in all Panasonic products.
- Easy-to-understand operation
- Uncomplicated displays and indicators
- Natural posture and ease of movement
- Space to support easy access
- Peace of mind and security
- Consideration of how product is used and maintained
