Ideas about user-friendly products vary between people of different cultures and regions. Thus, we have established the User Experience Research Group at our Panasonic San Jose Laboratory (PSJL) to improve product development.

Panasonic established the China Lifestyle Research Center in March 2005 to develop theories on Chinese consumers' requirements for household appliances from the point of view of citizens.
