Panasonic introduced its design philosophy "Future Craft" at the booth set up at the GOOD DESIGN EXHIBITION 2013, which was held for the first time in Tokyo Midtown. The products displayed, which included toasters, cordless phones, shavers and digital cameras, were all influenced and designed according to this philosophy. In accordance with the four requirements of “Future Craft”, a total of 9 products – a flat screen television, an IH cooker(prototype), a digital camera, a shaver, an LED neck light, a cordless phone, an iron, a toaster and a clear type LED light bulb were presented together with their video images.

Our design philosophy ‘Future Craft’ was introduced in the Panasonic booth at the Good Design Award 2012 Exhibition; an exhibition that brings together all the products awarded with the Good Design Award. Product examples displayed included a smart phone selected for the Good Design Top 100, televisions, breakfast series appliances for the European market, LED downlight and all other awarded products were shown on video. At IFA 2012, one of the world's largest electronics show held annually in Berlin, Panasonic exhibited products created under Panasonic's Future Craft design philosophy which include VIERA, drum-type washing machines, refrigerators and LED light bulbs, recipient of prestigious awards including the iF Gold award.
At the world biggest international furniture fair in Milan (Milan Salone) Panasonic introduced its design philosophy Future Craft (16th – 28th April 2012). Clear Glass LED Bulb and prototypes of New Wiring Devices which reflect this philosophy had displayed as examples of Future Craft realisation.
Panasonic's Clear Glass LED Bulb reproduces the sparkling warm glow of conventional clear bulb using an energy saving and longer lasting LED light. This bulb offers high quality yet ecological light and was recognized for excellence in product design winning a number of prestigious design awards in Japan and Germany.
Our new prototype Wiring Devices are energy saving switches whose unique concept was born from a new way of thinking. They can produce two different levels of brightness – one push will get a level of brightness preset by a user while another press will allow the maxim brightness. Our new smart phone, ELUGA was exhibited as an example of the 'Future Craft' design philosophy, at the MWC (Mobile World Congress), the worlds largest exhibition of all mobile related products held in Barcelona, Spain (27th Feb 2012 - 1st March 2012).
