Recycling Facility

Panasonic believes it is necessary to comply with the recycling-related laws enacted in each country. To this end, we have to plan and build a system to collect and recycle waste electronic products in consideration of the presently available recycling infrastructures in each country. Such a system must be environmentally and economically optimal and should, of course, be feasible and sustainable.

For example, Panasonic Eco Technology Center (PETEC) develops recycling technologies aiming for high purity and efficiency in the processes and offers the technologies and know-how obtained to product designing departments, as well as recycles products obliged under the Japanese Law for Recycling of Specified Kinds of Home Appliances. Initiatives at the recycling facility to realize a recycling-oriented society are now spreading to the world.
