Special Events

Panasonic ‘eco ideas’ Forom 2010: The Panasonic ‘eco ideas’ Forum 2010 was held for 4 days from October 6 (Wed.) through October 9 (Sat.) 2010, with the concept of "eR = ‘eco ideas’ Relations", at the Panasonic Center Tokyo (Ariake, Tokyo) as the main venue. Sessions and reports on displays are now available.

Earth Lunch Hour: Panasonic held an "Earth Lunch Hour" event from 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 6 through 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 7th, as part of the Panasonic Eco Relay Project. The event was aired live online on USTREAM® for 24 hours. The digest (about 4 min) and videos of each region are now available.

Panasonic Center introduces specific initiatives based on the vision looking to the 100th anniversary of Panasonic’s founding. It has displays where you can see, feel, and participate in the exhibitions.

The ‘eco ideas’ House: Location: Tokyo

Introducing the ‘eco ideas’ House, which proposes a lifestyle with virtually zero CO₂ emissions in an entire house realized in three to five years into the future.

Panasonic Living Showroom

Panasonic Living Showroom displays specific environmentally friendly products and services. It introduces solutions for a new lifestyle and recommended housing equipment.

Kasai Green Energy Park: Location: Kasai, Hyogo prefecture
A grand testing site aiming to contribute to achieve a low-carbon society with solar cells, lithium-ion batteries, and energy management technology that controls the cells.

SOLAR ARK: Location: Anpachi, Gifu prefecture
The Solar Ark is a unique, ark-shaped, solar photovoltaic power generation facility that offers activities to cultivate a better appreciation of solar power generation, and thereby of both ecology and science.
