With the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games on the horizon, Panasonic adopted "bringing to you the passion of the Olympic Games with cutting- edge HD technology" as its exhibition theme. Panasonic exhibited the latest visual solutions including the "P2HD" solid-state memory broadcasting system, "DVCPRO HD," and HD system equipment selected as the official format for the Beijing Olympic Games.
