 A CD-ROM compatible DVD car navigation system
with a DVD-ROM deck, the CN-DV007D, was put on the Japanese market
in 1997.This model was made possible using the renowned, high-level technology of the Panasonic group of companies, covering hardware and software. The system was produced through the integrated manufacturing of devices and complete systems. A single DVD-ROM involved about 630 cities throughout Japan. Built with a variety functions representing state-of-the-art technologies, the system was launched as a kickoff for the upcoming age of mobile multimedia and intelligent cars. |
