September, 3, 2012, Osaka, Japan－Industrial Devices Company, Panasonic Corporation has succeeded in commercializing “ the surface-mount type in-vehicle power choke coil ” first in the industry (※), suitable for step-up power supplies used in the driving circuits of fuel-injection systems in vehicles. Newly developed power choke coils features the smallest size in size and high vibration-resistance properties on top level in the industry.

Higher pressure at fuel injection and multi-time injection to improve fuel cost in vehicles have been increasingly advancing, and choke coils to be built in the step-up power supplies such as driving circuits of fuel-injection systems have been strongly required to be smaller in size, higher vibration-resistive, and also higher effective as well as larger current capacity. To meet the market demand, Industrial Devices Company, Panasonic Corporation has succeeded in commercializing “ the surface-mount type in-vehicle power choke coil ” first in the industry(※), realizing the smallest size in the industry (※)and the high vibration-resistance properties on top level in the industry(※), and will commence mass-production.
