| Judging process |
 |
Video entries will be judged in a 3-step process.
1. Local judging of videos in each country
2. Initial Global Contest judging
3. Final Global Contest judging |

One representative video to be selected from each participating country for entry in the initial
round of Global Contest judging. |
 |
Representative videos from all countries will be judged, and works from six schools will be
selected to compete in final judging. |
 |
Six videos selected in initial judging will be judged to select the Grand Prix winner and
winners of designated category prizes (script, shooting, sound, editing, etc.) |

Panels of judges will be comprised of film production professionals, journalists, educators, Panasonic
representatives and other qualified individuals. |
Teams from the six schools selected for the final judging will be invited to attend the KWN Global Contest Awards
Ceremony and receive their awards.
The first Awards Ceremony will be held in June 2008 in Japan.

The six videos nominated for the final judging will be posted on a KWN website where members of
the public will be encouraged to vote for their favorite video.

Results of the KWN Global Contest Web-based Public Voting Award (provisional name) will be announced and the
award will be presented at the KWN Global Awards Ceremony 2008.
