A network error may have occurred during setup.

Confirm that your network is working. Make sure that all the LAN cables are connected properly and that your router is turned on and functioning properly, then setup the camera again.

If many users are accessing the camera simultaneously, the image refresh rate decreases.

[Cause2]
You are not using an Ethernet switching hub.

If you view multiple cameras on the [Multi] page, image refresh rate may improve by connecting the cameras to an Ethernet switching hub.

[Cause3]
The image refresh rate may vary depending on the following conditions.

Setting :
SD Memory Card recording, IPsec, image-resolutions, image-quality types and the maximum bandwidth usage.
Environment:
PC performance, network, the brightness and type of object being viewed.

The amount of bandwidth that the camera is allowed to use is set too low.

Adjust the [Max. Bandwidth Usage] setting.

[Cause5]
The camera is in color night view mode.

It is normal. The image refresh rate decreases when color night view mode is activated. Deactivate color night view mode.

The PC's microphone is not selected as the audio input device.

Follow these steps to setup the PC's microphone.
1) Open the PC's volume control screen->[option]->[property].
2) Select [recode]->[mic.] and press [OK].
3) Check the select box of mic. and press [OK].

[Cause4]
The PC's microphone is muted.
[Solution4]
Open the PC's volume control screen, un-mute the microphone, and adjust the volume slider on the microphone.

[Cause5]
The speaker is not a powered speaker.
[Solution5]
The camera's audio output is line level; therefore the audio output must be amplified. Use a powered speaker or connect an amplifier to the speaker.

[Cause6]
PC Audio Input has been timed out.
[Solution6]
Change the [PC Audio Input Timeout] setting on the [Audio] page if necessary.

[Cause7]
The speaker is turned off or its volume is set too low.
[Solution7]
Confirm that the speaker is turned on and that its volume is turned up.

[Cause8]
Your web browser is accessing the camera via the proxy server. [Solution8]

The amount of bandwidth that the camera is allowed to use is set [unlimited].

Adjust the [Max. Bandwidth Usage] setting.

The [Mute during Pan/Tilt] setting is set to [Enable] on the [Audio] page.
[Solution3]
If set to [Enable], the camera audio is automatically muted whenever the camera is panning or tilting. As a result, the audio may sound interrupted.

[Cause4]
The sound being picked up by the microphone is too quiet.

Set the microphone sensitivity to [Maximum]

Refer to the [Protocol] column on the [Status] page, and check if errors are displayed.

The [Default Gateway] or DNS server address settings may be wrong.

Consult your ISP or network administrator, and assign the correct settings.

[Cause3]
The login ID or password entered for E-mail or HTTP transferring is incorrect.
[Solution3]
Confirm that the correct settings are entered.

[Cause4]
[No authentication] is selected for sending E-mail.
[Solution4]
Select the authentication method from [POP before SMTP authentication] or [SMTP authentication] for sending E-mail, and enter the appropriate settings if necessary.

[Cause5]
The method of SMTP authentication on the SMTP Server has not been compatible with PLAN mode or LOGIN mode.
[Solution5]
Only PLAN and LOGIN mode are supported on the camera.

Set the resolution to 192 ~ 144 or 160 x 120 and the image quality to [Favor Motion] on the trigger setting screen. Some mobile phones do not support 320 ~ 240 resolutions.

Power is not supplied to PoE equipped hub.
-> Supply power.

Wire of LAN cable is broken.
-> Use the other LAN cable.

The number of connecting PoE equipment is over limitation of PoE equipped hub.
-> Some PoE hubs have limitation of number of connecting PoE equipment. In this case, reconnect some PoE equipment to be same or lower number of limitation.

Camera and/or PoE equipped hub failed.
-> Ask your servicer.

Using relay hub between camera and PoE equipped hub.
-> Camera should be connected to PoE equipped hub directly.

Using wrong LAN cable.
-> Cable should satisfy standard of category 5. The cable should be consisting of four pairs UTP/STP cable.

    The camera was turned on before the camera control unit has booted up completely, or they were turned on at the same time.

    Turn the camera control unit on, check the indicators to confirm that it booted up completely, then turn the camera on.

  • [Cause3]
    An error has occurred in UPnP port forwarding.
    [Solution3]
    Set up the camera again in [Automatic Setup].

  • [Cause4]
    The Port forwarding with UPnP is not supported on the router.
    [Solution4]
    Update the router's firmware. If there is no improvement in symptoms, configure the port forwarding on the router manually, set the static network settings and disable "Auto Port Forwarding" on the camera.

    2. Select the [Proxy] tab.
    3. Uncheck [use the setting of the browser], input the IP address and port number of the proxy in [HTTP] column and click [apply].
