* Ask your network administrator when you set up an IP address.

Assign the IP address and the port number

You need to perform the following setup when viewing a Multi-Camera screen (motion images) from both LAN and WAN sides.
Set up as below: Cam1--WAN side Cam2--LAN side

Step1:The following is the environment (condition) for the setup examples.

  • Use xDSL (PPPoE), and assign a global IP address for WAN side.
  • Using a Broadband Router which is finished with the network setup.
  • Connection type : Use an Ethernet switching hub and connect two Network Cameras (KX-HCM10)and one PC to it.

Assuming the above conditions in explaining.
This following case is confirmed just under OUR environments, so when viewing your display a Multi-Camera screen, set up YOUR network environment.

Step2:Set up an IP Masquerade for Broadband Router side.

  2. Set up each parameter for cam1
    • Select "Enable" at "Entry".
    • Select "TCP&UDP" at "Protocol".
    • Enter a port number of cam1 at "Forwarding Port".
Do not use the well-known ports.
      Example: cam1--10001/ cam1--10002 etc.
    • Enter an IP address of cam1 at "Forwarding IP Address".
      Example : cam1---www.xxx.yyy.100 / cam2---www.xxx.yyy.200
