HD-PLC Adaptor

We recommend plugging the adaptor directly into a wall outlet whenever possible.

AC adaptors and battery chargers (such as cell phone chargers) may interfere with the performance of this product. We recommend connecting such devices to a power strip that is equipped with a noise filter.

The PA100 Master linked to an ADSL router is installed in the living room, and B is verified when the PA100 Terminal is connected directly to a room wall socket (wall outlet) and A is indirectly connected using a power strip.

*A: Recommended, B: Not recommended.

1. Measure the Internet browsing speed from the web browser of the PC. Use the following measurement site.

2. Exchange an ADSL router for the PC and use the speed measurement tool IxChariot. The transmission speed between the PA100 Master and PA100 Terminal is measured.
3. Press the Setup button of the PA100 Terminal to carry out a simple speed measurement.

In A, three LEDs are turned on by simple network speed testing. The Internet browsing in B shows slow response. Only one LED is turned on by simple network speed testing. It is possible that the PLC signal is being attenuated by a power strip or battery charger.
