Recommended Configuration for Best Performance
We recommend plugging the adaptor directly into a wall outlet whenever possible.
AC adaptors and battery chargers (such as cell phone chargers) may interfere with the performance of this product. We recommend connecting such devices to a power strip that is equipped with a noise filter.
The PA100 Master linked to an ADSL router is installed in the living room, and B is verified when the PA100 Terminal is connected directly to a room wall socket (wall outlet) and A is indirectly connected using a power strip.
*A: Recommended, B: Not recommended.
- Measure the Internet browsing speed from the web browser of the PC. Use the following measurement site.

- Exchange an ADSL router for the PC and use the speed measurement tool IxChariot. The transmission speed between the PA100 Master and PA100 Terminal is measured.
- Press the Setup button of the PA100 Terminal to carry out a simple speed measurement.
In A, three LEDs are turned on by simple network speed testing. The Internet browsing in B shows slow response. Only one LED is turned on by simple network speed testing. It is possible that the PLC signal is being attenuated by a power strip or battery charger.
