In case you use the Application Software or Interface Drivers with KV-S1020C, KV-S1025C, KV-S1045C, KV-S7065C, KV-S7075C, KV-S3065CW/L, KV-S4065CW/L, KV-S4085CW/L, KV-SS905C or KV-S3105C, it is necessary to update the Device Driver (STI driver) and Common Software to the latest version as well.

In case you use some particular models on a specific Windows version, the device driver(STI driver) is required. Please download the driver file from this site and install it into your PC.

* When you use the latest RTIV, TWAIN and ISIS with KV-S2025C or KV-S2045C, you can use STI. In this case, please download this device driver.

* Except the above-mentioned models or Windows versions, Installation of the device driver is not required.(however, ASPI driver is required, instead)

This software is software to perform Automatic Image Orientation function with Application Software and Interface Drivers.

RTIV is application software that scans documents from the scanner and effectively produces the image file on PC. Please refer to RTIV page to get more detailed information.

* In case you use Panasonic High Speed scanner with this software, it is necessary to update the Device Driver (STI driver) to the latest version as well. It can be downloaded from here.

*1 You can install these updated RTIV just in case you use the scanner in which an older version of RTIV is bundled. It is required to have installed an older version of RTIV in your PC before you install it.

*2 At RTIV ver 3.2 or later, some operation methods to set the scanning condition are altered in order to provide some new functions and to improve the usability.

*3 In case you use the Multicolor Drop Out function with KV-S1020C, KV-S1025C, KV-S1045C, KV-S7065C, KV-S7075C, KV-S3065CW/L, KV-S4065CW/L, KV-S4085CW/L, KV-SS905C or KV-S3105C, it is necessary to update the Multicolor Drop Out utility to the latest version as well. It can be downloaded from here.

*4 The Automatic Deskew function of RTIV ver 3.X or later requires a black reference roller. In case you update RTIV from ver 2.X to ver 3.X or later, and use it with KV-S6040W/KV-S6045W/KV-S2055L/KV-S2055W, it will not work properly. It is because they have a white reference roller. Please exchange a white roller for black one since it will be provided as an option. In case you are a user of KV-SS25 or KV-SS55 or KV-SS855, we are afraid that you cannot use the Automatic Deskew with RTIV ver 3.X or later.

*5 In case you use the Automatic Image Orientation function with KV-S1020C, KV-S1025C, KV-S1045C, KV-S2026C, KV-S2046C, KV-S2028C, KV-S2048C, KV-S7065C, KV-S7075C, KV-S3065CW/L, KV-S4065CW/L, KV-S4085CW/L, or KV-S3105C, it is necessary to install the IDR Engine Software (IDREngine). It can be downloaded from here.

"Image Capture Software" which scans documents with a Panasonic scanner and produces image files on PC as well as RTIV is the new application software provided by Panasonic. The difference from RTIV is the page-editing capabilities like page shuffle or page delete which makes the operation easier with their thumbnail images. If you don't often use these functions, RTIV may be more convenient. Please refer to Image Capture Software page or the manual below to get more detailed information.
A customer who uses Panasonic document scanners listed below is allowed to use this software without any restriction but please make sure the OS where it works.

"Instant Scanning Software" is a new concept application software that provides simple and secure network scanning.

This application software consists of Document Manager and Document Viewer. Document Manager is an application for managing documents (image files). By utilizing the Document Manager and Document Viewer in combination, a number of documents (image files) can be classified, managed, browsed, and edited.

*2 This beta version ISIS driver is added some functions from version 1.1. Please see the Release Note and Manual for more detail. If it is not required to use the added functions, please use version 1.1. This beta version ISIS driver has not been certified by Pixel Translations(present EMC Corporation). Therefore, the message of "A driver installed on this system has not been certified by Pixel Translations. ...." is indicated when the "Select Driver" menu is selected. However it works normally except for it.

*3 In case you use the Automatic Image Orientation function with KV-S1020C, KV-S1025C, KV-S1045C, KV-S2026C, KV-S2046C, KV-S2028C, KV-S2048C, KV-S7065C, KV-S7075C, KV-S3065CW/L, KV-S4065CW/L, or KV-S4085CW/L, it is necessary to install the IDR Engine Software (IDREngine). The Feed Speed Utility is a software utility that changes the paper feed speed.
Slow paper feed reduce a paper jam and a double feed with thin paper, carbonless paper and so on. It will provide a better paper feeding.
