This network is attracting widespread attention as a leading-edge system for companies involved in the handling of customer information owing to it providing not only conventional surveillance functions centring on normal monitoring, it also utilises a system for recording remote images both accurately and in the long-term.

System Outline

Images from cameras installed in key work areas in offices separated from the head office are saved onto network disc recorders in the data system division and are also automatically stored onto tape media. This together with an IC-card access management system helps improve the effects of measures to prevent information leaks and the management of personal information. Maintenance of this recording system, which uses both hard disc recorders and tape storage in tandem, consists of replacing the tapes once per month, which not only reduces workloads, it also prevents to miss recording data caused by human error. In addition, past images covering long periods of time can also be quickly retrieved and verified in the event of unexpected incidents in order to solve all problems and provide additional protection.
