The Security Show 2008, Japan's largest for security industry trade show, was held at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center (Tokyo Big Sight).

On March 4, Panasonic System Solutions Company introduced the new megapixel i-Pro lineup at the Panasonic center Tokyo. It was the company's first new product introduction attended by both Japanese and international press with presentations made simultaneously in both Japanese and English.

The Security Show 2008, Japan's largest for security industry trade show, was held at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center (Tokyo Big Sight) for a four-day period between March 4 (Tuesday) and March 7 (Friday) with 268 exhibitors and 73000 visitors.
Panasonic group exhibited both business and home security solutions including video surveillance systems, information security systems and access control systems.

Panasonic System Solutions Company exhibited a full lineup of video surveillance systems including analog surveillance systems, the i-Pro Network Surveillance System and an iris recognition system. In this state-of-the art lineup, the limelight this year was on the new megapixel i-Pro Network Surveillance System, which offers "Superior Image and Total System Quality" and includes four new products, the WV-NF302 Megapixel Day/Night Fixed Dome Network Camera, the WV-NP304 Megapixel Day/Night Network Camera, the WJ-ND400 Network Disk Recorder and the WJ-GXD400 Multi Channel High Definition Video Decoder.

8 security magazine editors from across Europe visited the Panasonic booth.

The presentation on the main stage was a powerful draw. A male actor played the role of a security manager with many questions about how to solve his security problems. His questions were answered by the female presenter. An actual megapixel image sample was used in the demo, and its outstanding image quality impressed the many security professionals, journalists and end users who saw it.
In addition to these new i-Pro rage, Panasonics high quality analog cameras, DVRs, and encoders equipped with video analytic and management software also attracted admiring crowds.

These new products will also be exhibited in the ISC-WEST, April 2-4 in Las Vegas and IFSEC; May 12-15 in Birmingham UK.
